Okay, so... that had definitely been A Weekend. Doing tea with Sith Lords, having to face the fact that Summer was leaving for his own damn off-limits homeworld tomorrow and there wasn't a thing he could do for her if it all went sideways. Not having any guests of his own...

... Even if Sparkle and Hernando's guest had really given it her best attempt.

He had a lot to chew on. He was antsy. And antsy meant...

Well. He could think of someone else from home who probably hadn't had a visitor, which was why he was shooting Sabine a text:

Supply run day again. You in?

And then he was heading to the usual place, leaning back against the side of his ship with his arms crossed over his chest. Just waiting.

[OOC: For Sabine!]

Kanan was anxious. Had been for some time now, as the summer built up to its grand finale, and now he was finding himself drowning in it a little, between numerous nightmare realities and the would-be execution and Rey vanishing and coming back a Jedi and now Summer, planning to head to Coruscant of all places.

And once upon a time, when he found himself this anxious, he'd run.

Didn't trust himself to come back, if he took off alone.

Had to do something productive.

And so he sent off a text.

Headed home for a supply run before new students show up. You in?

And then he made his way up to The Escape and he waited.

[OOC: For one!]

Kaidan was test-driving a new outfit under his armor. A bamboo-fiber quick-wicking shirt with a seamless design and a pair of cargo pants he’d adapted to have more updated fastenings than 21st century Earth. He brought the Eagle and his own Scorpion, as well as a duffle bag to store his armor in once they got to wherever they were going. In theory, they weren’t looking for trouble. In reality, he didn’t really go anywhere without being armed for bear anymore these days. In all honesty, trouble sounded like fun. He fully realized he was in Bad Life Choice mode.

He got to the building and texted Kanan to let him know he was there.

Cut for actual literal novella, oops. )

[Preplayed (post-played?) and backposted with [personal profile] spectre_alenko! What these idiots got up to that weekend.]

Ah, the Escape. Kanan really didn't get out to fly her nearly enough these days, although it was probably fair to say that he hadn't been out to fly her nearly enough in years, either. Lately it had been more about the missions he was running with Hera from time to time, as opposed to it simply being a matter of letting Morfizo keep an eye on her on Moraga, but the fact remained, Kanan didn't get to fly his ship enough.

Well, he had a good excuse today, anyway. If Summer wanted to get involved in their weird little baby rebellion against the Empire, she was going to have to at least know how to fly a ship, just in case. And probably a speeder, for that matter. And to fire a blaster, and...

Okay, no, one thing at a time. Ship for now, because he had a ship here, and then maybe he'd save up his share of the credits from missions with Hera to buy a speeder. Unless he could steal one, he supposed. He wasn't opposed to obtaining a speeder bike in a less than legal manner if it was for a good cause, preferably from somebody wearing a bucket and already causing him a headache.

He grinned a bit at the thought, leaning back against the hull of the Escape while he waited for Summer. Hey, this could be fun.

[OOC: Waiting for one, but the roof is obviously open for anyone else who might have a reason to be there in the meantime!]
