In true Prompto fashion, he'd waited until the last minute to drop off his Secret Santa present at MCA for Kanan to find, practically with one foot through the portal to Hyrule. It was, of course, awkwardly wrapped, because it was very awkwardly shaped, but he'd tried, dammit, and he thought he'd done a pretty good job, too, plopping a big red bow on it and everything.

Yeah, the note had said there might be a penalty for negatively received gifts, but Prompto was willing to take that penalty, because he thought his present was absolutely genius and hilarious and so totally worth it.
