"Against my better judgment, we're going Mid Rim tonight," Kanan announced, leading Summer away from where he'd landed the Escape, in a grassy field not far from a somewhat affluent city center on one of Naboo's moons. "You want a place with connections, here is where you go to get connections."
He glanced up at the pinkish sky and smiled crookedly as he walked. The cantina in question was only a few minutes away, on the city's outskirts, which was also a point in its favor.
"Pretty place, if you like grass, I suppose." He cast a glance Summer's way. "The people in the city around here have money, we're not too likely to fall into too much trouble in this cantina, but a lot of the industry here comes from miners from just out of town. Even odds we're walking into their watering hole, and if it's after hours today you'll likely meet some of the local... flavor."
Really, after-hours with a mining crew were some of the best hours Kanan had ever spent in his life. This was going to be a treat either way.

"I like grass," she said, because of course she would, "and money's good, too. Mines. Hard workers."
There may have been a small eeee sound escaping her right there, as it caught up with her how great it was to be in a new place to learn about it just for the sake of learning about it, not because they needed anything in particular, or they had to kill someone or steal some rando crystal or to escape because someone'd gone and pissed off an entire race by being a total dickbag.
"I'm excited," she gushed, even though that probably went without saying. "What are the people like here? Mostly human-like, or more diverse? Or, I mean, I guess I'll see when we get there, won't I? What sort of drink should I order? I don't want to make it too obvious that I'm out of place or anything."
