Aboard the Ghost, in a Galaxy Far, Far, Away, Wednesday
"Okay," Kanan said, parked in the copilot's seat in the cockpit of the Ghost. "We'll be dropping out of hyperspace in just a few minutes. The planet we're stopping at is a fairly agrarian world, mostly grasslands with a few scattered mountains, and the presence of the Empire has been stepping up across the planet ever since they opened their industries to the Empire in an attempt to bail themselves out from economic disaster. Farmers are being run off their land and sent to a re-settlement camp with nothing to their names so that the Empire can dig up their homes for mineral deposits underneath."
The ship came out of hyperspace over a world that seemed to be about equal part ocean, stony mountain range, and grassland.
"We're going to be heading into that re-settlement camp," he pointed to the current night-side of the planet, "to deliver our cargo of supplies. We go in, we unload, and we leave. The faster we are about it, the better. We want to avoid too many suspicious eyes. Any questions?"

It wasn't as though the Empire let the people it displaced speak up about it, exactly.

"And that's why we're doing this," he said, gently. "Because somebody has to. Because I could spend the rest of my life running, but what good would that do? Because maybe someday, even the small things we do here will matter."
