In Orbit Around Endor, Kanan and Hera's GFFA, Thursday Afternoon
"So," Kanan said, leaning back comfortably in the co-pilot seat in the cockpit of the Ghost, "the way I figure, we're going on a scouting mission, right? We've got the ship, Summer's got her wobbly things, there, and now we get to go on a grand tour of the Galaxy to see if Hera and I are the only sentients who," were crazy enough to, "like Summer's jelly things. So we start with a variety, right? We've got human and Twi'lek covered, let's go with something a little different."
He gestured to the lush forest moon that appeared before them on the viewscreen, orbiting a gas giant a little farther off. Well. 'A little.' It was all a bit relative in space. There were eight other moons out there, too, but none of them were quite as lush and green as this one.
"Enter, Endor. The Island made a pit-stop there back when I was new to the place, so it isn't a complete unknown. It's in the Outer Rim, so we're about as far out as we can get without hitting Wild Space or the Unknown Regions - I promise, you won't do good business in the Unknown Regions. Probably. And it's got at least two sentient native species that might or might not have a taste for stuff suspended in more stuff, though you're more likely to see Yuzzums wandering the Galaxy than Ewoks. As far as I can tell, most Ewoks are homebodies. And I'm not saying you're going to be setting up a five-star restaurant in the middle of the jungle here or anything, but it's a start."
And, so far as Kanan saw it, since it was so far from the Imperial Core, it was possibly a good place to give Summer a first taste of their Galaxy without immediately getting shot at.
He maybe hadn't factored in spears. Or boarwolves. Or condor dragons.
"So, do we want to take the Ghost down, or leave her in orbit with Chop and take the Phantom instead? It might be easier to find somewhere to land with a smaller ship. Maybe we can even give Summer a crack at the controls."
[OOC: For those two ladies!]

She was getting ready to head back down when it became apparent that Bohemian Rhapsody wasn't the only thing leading to the blurrg stampede. A group of somewhat disgruntled yuzzums followed, giving up when the blurrgs went into the trees, and eyeing them with curiosity and a bit of suspicion.

But she bit her lip when she saw the attention they'd received from the other creatures that had emerged. "Um," she stared, peeking a little bit from behind Hera with a wave, "hi! Sorry! My bad!"
Yes, she knew they didn't speak...what did they call it? Basic? But she hoped tone would be pretty universal.
"Didn't mean to get your blurrgs all riled up. No more Queen, I promise!"

One of the yuzzums, one that looked a little older and more gray than the rest, with a chip in one of his prominent teeth and a kink in one of his antennae, stared beadily between Kanan, Hera, and Summer before lowering his pointy rock and saying something... largely unintelligible, unless one happened to speak Yuzzum. There were a few yubs and nubs involved, at least.
Kanan lowered his own blaster and offered the group of spindly creatures a tentative smile, even as a few more rode up to join the first on the backs of tall, spindly, spider-like creatures.
"Hey, Summer? What is it they keep saying in those Earth holos about meeting aliens? 'We come in peace?'" He grinned a little more confidently at the group of hunters, and then added, "And we bring food."
The jello had survived the blurrgs. It would be a shame to let this opportunity go to waste.

She decided to chance it, rushing off the ramp and behind the tree to go fetch the dropped jello monstrosities and holding them up before peeling back the foil covering. "We bring food!"
She patted her belly for effect, hoping it wouldn't be horribly interpreted. "Yum yum!"
Then she held the tray toward Miss Hera and BDG with a little nudge as she sort of whispered, "Here, guys, show them."
She certainly wasn't going to eat it if she could help it, but they'd already proven to not mind them so much.

"Oota champawa! Nawa goo!"
The rest of the wobbly thing in the yuzzum's hands was being shoved into his mouth, and then he was gesturing for the rest to come have some, too. They all seemed a little leery, but once Kanan had cut a few more pieces and passed them around, they were all digging in with a gusto.
"I think that means they like it," he mused.

And then she was pleased to discover that it definitely didn't go that way.
Yet.
Her experiences made her a little wary of what might happen when they ran out of samples. But for now, she had to feel a swell of pride and promise.
"Nice."

But Summer wasn't going to let herself be distracted with another profoundly stupid species left to inexplicably exist in the great multiverse that was.She tilted her head a little and shrugged. "What would we trade for? I honestly was expecting just to give it all away."
Like a drug dealer. Give them their first hit free, so they come crawling back for more...

Kanan gave his shoulders a shrug and looked around at the little group.
"Why don't you see what they have to offer?"
It couldn't hurt.
