Around mid-afternoon on Tuesday, Kitty sent a picture of the front desk of the hospital where they were checking her in.

Hey remember when you said you could cover my bar shift if I needed? Don't think I'm making it in today...

What Kanan had said when he read this text, in person, out loud, was something along the lines of, "Yes! Wait, that's good right? Yes, of course that's good. Baby? She means the baby? Kriff, what if this means there's something wrong with the baby? Baby, you better be okay."

It took him a couple of minutes to cycle back around to, "Okay, if there was anything the matter with the baby, Kitty would have mentioned. Pull it together, Jarrus."

The text Kitty actually got, then, was a little less... frenetic.

Hey, about time she makes an appearance! You go, take care of that, I've got the bar handled. Good luck, Kitty. Say hi to her for me, would you?
