"Hey, don't get me wrong, I'm not in any hurry to join you on the whole 'being dead' front," Kanan said, holding up his hands in front of himself. "But I've seen enough dead people for the novelty to have worn off, and the idea of death itself doesn't bother me."

He'd caused a few of those deaths, himself. They were as much a part of his life as any of the rest of it.
