MCA #3, Saturday Morning
Well, this was an awkward way to wake up.
That was the first thought through his head as he realized he wasn't in the bed alone. There was somebody else in that bed with him - lekku, warm to the touch, a Twi'lek, though he couldn't dredge up a name for her if his life depended on it - and just the fact that he was waking up half-curled around a person whose name he couldn't even remember was enough to jolt him awake just that little bit more.
There was something at the food of the bed, too and a quick glance down didn't betray much in the dim morning light beyond that it was some kind of animal, maybe the Twi'lek girl's pet? Which meant that he was definitely the one intruding here. Made sense. He didn't recognize the room, either. Couldn't even remember the situation that put him here in the first place.
Hell, he must've been pretty drunk last night, then. Couldn't remember the girl, the place, how he even got to be here...
His own name...?
"Wait, what?"
Oh, he had a bad feeling about this.

"Just a feeling I have," he replied. "Like things are a bit confused, but safe all the same."
He glanced back at her for a moment, and then shifted to plant his feet on the floor, noting with some relief that he was at least wearing trousers, even if he didn't seem to have a shirt on. He took a moment to rake his fingers through his hair to smooth it back out of his face again, and then started poking around the room, trying to get his bearings.
"Have you got a name at all? I'm afraid mine seems to be evading me at the moment."
Which was... disconcerting. But didn't feel new. Hm.

"Waking up this morning, I'm afraid." A glance toward the window. "Assuming it's morning. I feel well enough rested, I'm going to say it's close enough. You?"

Another drawer.
"And mine." A pause as his eye caught on a small metal cube, large enough to sit comfortably in the palm of his hand. Huh.
He grabbed a clean shirt and pulled it on. He'd worry about the rest in a minute.
"So either we've been here for some time and this memory trouble is new, or this room was waiting for us." Another look at the wolf. "He seems comfortable enough. With the room and with us."

Maybe not so much by him. Most things in this room didn't seem like anything that would catch his interest. There was armor slung over a chair. That was probably his; it seemed too large for her, anyway.

He smiled a bit, in spite of everything.

Stance was hardly teacup anything.
Well.
Compared to wolves from home...

He was clearly a good, good boy.

Oh, heck. What even was impulse control? He was absolutely reaching out to squish that wolfy face around.
The wolf didn't seem to mind. At all.

The little wolf was getting a scratch behind the ears for being such a good sport about that squishy face thing.

He probably was. For food and pets.
She reached out carefully and petted him, though.
"So, we're here for some reason, we have a miniature wolf, and we have no idea who we are. We should probably figure that out."

He cleared his throat, gesturing at the drawer in question.
"Sorry about that."
no subject
She didn't think that was likely.

His knees would be fine.

... Especially given that they apparently shared a bed.

Personal growth! Respect! Well done, Kanan!
"Maybe, but great underwear's less exciting when it's neatly folded in a drawer anyway."
... Well, it was marginally better.

"Well, should we see what's on the other side of that door?"
The open one they hadn't gone through yet?
