MCA #3, Saturday Morning

Well, this was an awkward way to wake up.

That was the first thought through his head as he realized he wasn't in the bed alone. There was somebody else in that bed with him - lekku, warm to the touch, a Twi'lek, though he couldn't dredge up a name for her if his life depended on it - and just the fact that he was waking up half-curled around a person whose name he couldn't even remember was enough to jolt him awake just that little bit more.

There was something at the food of the bed, too and a quick glance down didn't betray much in the dim morning light beyond that it was some kind of animal, maybe the Twi'lek girl's pet? Which meant that he was definitely the one intruding here. Made sense. He didn't recognize the room, either. Couldn't even remember the situation that put him here in the first place.

Hell, he must've been pretty drunk last night, then. Couldn't remember the girl, the place, how he even got to be here...

His own name...?

"Wait, what?"

Oh, he had a bad feeling about this.

"How do you know that?" she asked. She looked at the wolf a bit warily, but it didn't seem to be causing trouble. It could keep sleeping.

"I'm sure I do," she answered. "What it is, I couldn't say." She eyed him dubiously, unsure if she should trust his feeling. "What's the last thing you remember?"

"The same," she agreed with a sigh. She got out of bed - at least she was also dressed - and went to look out the window.

"Buildings and a small city," she said with a shrug. She looked back and eyed him searching through the clothes. "I don't know how I feel about that. If it's waiting for us, I mean."
futurespacemom: (concerned)

"I suppose so." She gave the wolf a large berth and went over to 'her' dresser. "I'd like to know why we can't remember anything, though."

She watched him. "He doesn't seem dangerous," she conceded. "Do you think he's a pet of some sort?"
futurespacemom: (smiling)

[personal profile] futurespacemom 2019-02-10 04:07 pm (UTC)(link)
"It seems like an odd pet to have." She tentatively held out a hand to him. "He's very colorful, though." She smiled. "And that face is adorable, it's true."

He was clearly a good, good boy.

She laughed. "Okay, clearly he's a pet. He could have bitten your hands off, you know."
futurespacemom: (stern)

[personal profile] futurespacemom 2019-02-10 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)
"He could've just been waiting."

He probably was. For food and pets.

She reached out carefully and petted him, though.

"So, we're here for some reason, we have a miniature wolf, and we have no idea who we are. We should probably figure that out."
futurespacemom: (amused judging)

[personal profile] futurespacemom 2019-02-10 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
She screwed up her nose at him. "Well, it's not like you knew better. Though if I find out you're faking amnesia, I'll kick in your knees."

She didn't think that was likely.

"You would," she agreed.
futurespacemom: (smirking)

"Maybe I have really great underwear." She was trying not to laugh. No underwear would be worth the effort, plus even if she didn't know herself, she didn't think she was the fancy-underwear type.
futurespacemom: (happy)

"Good answer," she said, grinning.

"Well, should we see what's on the other side of that door?"

The open one they hadn't gone through yet?
